FAQ
A little care between sessions keeps your next sharpening routine simple.
Put the knife away safely first. Lift loose metal dust with a soft, dry brush and collect it with a cloth. Wipe the wood with a barely damp cloth, then dry immediately. Keep the roller and abrasive faces dry. Do not soak the wood, oil the abrasives, or put the set in a dishwasher. Wash and dry the knife separately before food preparation.
Sharpen when cutting performance declines, rather than on a fixed daily schedule. The interval depends on blade steel, cutting board, frequency of use, and knife care. Remove only as much metal as needed. Never slide a finger along an edge to check sharpness.
Replacement rollers are coming soon. We are not taking orders or preorders, and there is no announced price or release date. The product page will list the compatible fit, abrasive grades, and pack contents when the accessory is ready.
Wear varies with blade steel, pressure, cleaning, and frequency of use, so we do not promise a set number of sessions. If cutting action drops, remove loose dust and check the setup before trying again. Stop using a loose or damaged abrasive surface; pressing harder can damage the blade or tool.
Let every part dry before returning it to its fitted box. Keep it away from a wet sink, prolonged moisture, and direct heat, and out of children’s reach. Store knives separately rather than leaving a blade attached to the guide. Check the magnetic grip and roller movement before the next session.
